Optional setting: Keep migrated tasks visible on their original date

I would love to have an optional setting that makes task migration behave more like the traditional Bullet Journal method. Currently, when I migrate a task to another day, the task is moved to the new date and disappears from the original Daily Log. In the traditional Bullet Journal method, however, the original task remains on the old day and is marked as migrated (). The task is then added to the new day as an active task (•). For example: Monday Finish presentation Tuesday • Finish presentation This has an important advantage: when looking back at previous Daily Logs, I can still see what I had originally planned for that day and which tasks I had to migrate. Suggested implementation Add an optional setting such as: “Keep migrated tasks on original date” When enabled: The original task stays visible on the original date. Its bullet changes to to indicate that it was migrated. A new active instance of the task appears on the destination date. The old entry could optionally be read-only or linked to the current task. When disabled, migration could continue to work exactly as it does today by simply moving the task. This would preserve the history of the Daily Log while still allowing users to choose between the current digital workflow and the traditional Bullet Journal migration method.

FATE convention

It would be really helpful to have a “moods” category alongside the tasks, notes and events. To avoid copyright infringement instead of the NAME convention from bullet journal you could use FATE instead Feelings Actions Thoughts Experiences Understanding that you already have the last three, just named differently. Even if they remain as they are, would just like to have a forth category for feelings/moods :)

Map each synced calendar to its own collection

When syncing Google Calendar or iCloud Calendar, let each individual calendar map automatically to its own collection. Today synced events arrive as read-only items that don't belong to any collection, so they can't be organised alongside the rest of a list. Note: this needs synced calendar events to become full entries that can carry a collection - the same prerequisite as being able to tick them off (https://feedback.bullet.to/p/ability-to-tick-calendar-events). Vertical Weekly View

It would be absolutely amazing to have a choice between the current (horizontal) weekly view and a vertical weekly view, where each day is a column. The current view is ideal for smaller devices but if viewing on the web or an iPad etc, it would be nice to have the other option as well, as that’s typically how I prefer planners to be set up anyway. Love Bullet regardless though. Thanks for the hard work!

let's customize the notes

Could you make a section for Notes, just like there is for Inbox and Habits? In addition, we should be able to customise features such as colour or font in the notes section.

Quick navigation in Year View

Could we have a ‘today’ or ‘this month’ button to navigate instantly within the year view instead of having to scroll from January every time? This especially help when we’re already in Q3 or Q4, although it’s possible to just go to the Today and/or Month View.

Optional Day View Setting: Group events, tasks and notes by time of day

I would love to have an option to sort events, tasks, and notes by time of day (eg. morning, afternoon, evening). So if there’s a time set for said item, group it automatically. If there is no time set, group it manually. If there is no category set, leave it ungrouped. A lot of my to-dos don’t actually have a set time they need to be completed by, so I leave the time field blank for them. This is just to help break up my task list, make time management a lot easier, and made my to-do list feel less overwhelming. Thanks!

Print View

Hi there, not sure if there’s an option to print the weekly view of all the tasks and events we have. I find it hard to follow through or check the app even though it’s my favorite. I’d love to have a paper I can preview irl.

More accessible friendly text colors

The colors for the text are too high contract against the black or white background for my disabled brain. Alternatively you can add different colored background color.

Please consider adding Korean language support to Bullet!

There are many people in South Korea who enjoy productivity apps and are always looking for better ways to organize their tasks, notes, and ideas. I believe a Korean interface could help Bullet reach a much wider audience and encourage more people to use and recommend it. If full localization is difficult, AI-assisted translation could be a practical starting point, with improvements based on feedback from Korean users. Even translating the main menus and core features would make a big difference. I’d love to use Bullet in Korean, and I hope you’ll consider this for a future update. Thank you!

I like the look of the app after the latest update. It looks cleaner and more modern somehow. Thank you!

Repeat tasks not showing

If I understand correctly, a repeat task does not show up until the previous one in the series has been checked off. It would be helpful to be able to see those repeats showing up over the coming week at least, to eliminate scheduling conflicts.

Sorting Function

Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful app. For more efficient schedule management, I would like to request one feature. That is the sorting function. Sorting seems possible using tags and such, but since I'm using the free version, it's not very easy for me. I’m not expecting a lot from the free version, but being able to sort by just the Korean alphabet would make things feel much more organized. Sorting by various criteria is possible now, but it would be nice if we could sort even within those. For example, after sorting by type, you can sort within the same type again in descending order of importance. I would greatly appreciate it if you could add the alphabetical order based on that.

Brain dump tasks & concentrated view of calendar

Thank you for such a wonderful app! The only things I’d like to request.. An option to the view the weekly calendar appearance vertical instead of longways - think Microsoft office A way to dump multiple tasks/events/notes into the inbox. Like Trello, how emails/voice notes can be forwarded through emails or speak into it, then it can break down what the tasks are. Viewing the subtask in view underneath the task, that’d be useful

Option to show weekly tasks alongside the week instead of in a separate pane

In the current week view, weekly-scoped tasks live in a separate pane that has to be scrolled or expanded, so the week itself only gets about half the screen. For people whose weekly tasks matter more than their events, that's the wrong split - they'd rather see everything on one combined page without needing to open the tray. Ask: an option to lay the week view out as one combined page, with weekly tasks visible alongside the days rather than tucked into a separate pane.

Completed event mark off

I have my calendar integrated with Bullet and I get a lot of satisfaction out of checking off my “Tasks” as I complete them (or Notes) but can never seem to check off the event I wang to. It just perpetually stays on my Bullet list for that day.

Home screen widget should show the collection's colour

Home screen widgets currently give no visual cue about which collection they're showing. Tinting the widget with the collection's colour would make several widgets on one home screen distinguishable at a glance.

Allow each entry to take one row in month view

Also the year view. so that they are not cluttered and easily visible.

Prompts and the journal input take up half the day view

On the day view, the prompts section and the large "Write something" input take up close to half the screen on mobile, pushing the actual entries down. On days that are purely task logging, that gets in the way.

UI suggestion

The current UI looks like my pic belongs to a sub-entry. I m attaching the UI from another app just for reference, but i find it very nice and intuitive.
