Adding links to existing tasks

Thanks for the ability to add links to tasks, it's very convenient! (This applies to the web version): For some reason, if I add a link to the title of a new task, it appears as a link with an icon. However, if I want to edit existing tasks and add a link, nothing happens... Is this expected behavior?
