Duplicate entries in all ways other than "ID"

I use Bullet across multiple devices. When using the "timeline" view on a device, everything seems fine with no duplicate entries being shown as I navigate through sub-entries etc. However, once I start interrogating the entries using either lists or filters, there appear to be a lot of duplicate entries being returned. I have exported the data to CSV and have noticed that each of these duplicate entries are unique as far as Bullet is concerned with separate "IDs" even though all the human-readable fields are the same. Any ideas?
