Filters break between web and ios apps

A filter that is successfully showing data in the web app shows no data when viewing it in the ios app (also conversely one created in the ios app shows no data on the web app. The difference can be seen in the way the filter is built. When I edit the filter in the origin app it consists of the names of the tags or lists identified for filtering. But when I view the edit option on the other device I see a long ID code instead of the name of the tag or the List in use.
