Markdown Images Not Displaying

At one point I added images in notes as markdown and they displayed just fine when using the ![Alt Text](Image URL) syntax. That doesn't seem to work anymore. Try ![](https://www.bgr.com/bgr/entertainment/every-second-counts-why-fxs-the-bear-is-a-must-watch-for-anyone-who-creates-for-a-living/rsz_bear-e302_06_24_06still003.webp) in a note. Weirder still, previously linked images show as links to the alt text. Enter ![Alt](https://www.bgr.com/bgr/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/rsz_bear-e301_still018.jpg) into a note and it displays as !Alt with a link to the image. Any plans to allow images to display in markdown again? Thanks.

    I had to change a lot about the way the text editor works because I was using some buggy third party packages. In order to build a more reliable text editor, I had to build a very simple version of my own, but it meant that images are not supported anymore (yet)

    I will build the more advanced version later, though it’s a significant task and I don’t have a timeline for it yet
