Repeating tasks only show on Day view

I have a repeating task for every Thursday. I discovered recently that repeating tasks only shows up on the Day view--it doesn't appear in the Week or the Month view. I have missed this repeating task for multiple weeks now since I usually use the Week view (it's just more convenient for me to see the week as a whole). Can you please advise whether repeating tasks can appear on all views and not just the Day view?
