Scheduled task completion results in 'Repeating Task Is Overdue' prompt

If I complete a scheduled task on the day that it is due, I receive the prompt 'Repeating Task Is Overdue' with "When would you like to complete this task?" and options of:- Complete on Scheduled Date - Repeats Sat, Jan 31, 2026- Complete Now - Repeats Sat, Jan 31, 2026Matching options because the task was completed on the assigned date - an unnecessary step and tax on mental bandwidth
