Text editor update broke existing MD bullet point formatting

When I look at notes that contain bullet points that were created before the latest text editor changes, they are rendering incorrectly. Selecting "copy text as markdown" and pasting shows the text properly formatted, so I'm hoping this is just a rendering issue and my old notes can be salvaged :)
