Widgets Broken

On iOS and iPadOS widgets do not work like they used to. The widget does not sync automatically unless the app is opened full screen. I also cannot tick a task from the widget anymore. This app has been a godsend for me this year, I really appreciate your effort. Unfortunately the change or bug with the widgets destroys my workflow and what made the app so useful for myself. It is the main reason I use it over Tiimo, as well as the simpler design. I hope others feel the same so it gets upvoted and fixed as quickly as possible. I really do love your app, but this bug is tough for me.
