Add traditional calendar view as an option

Current Bujo style timeline has a lot going on. Could be simplified into one tabless interface that people are more familiar with - e.g. existing calendar apps. - Add a simpler timeline view - Also add calendar views for month/year

    **Column view for events** Hello Hamish, first off, I'm loving Bullet. The only key feature missing, in my experience, is to have a vertical (column based) layout in the week overview, in which events could be entered as blocks (like in Google Calendar and other calendar apps) with a start and end time (or easily customisable event duration) . If only that one feature were added, Bullet would become the perfect, beautifully minimalist all-in-one calendar/bullet journal/planner/tracker platform for me. For now, the only way around it seems to be to sync Bullet with Google Calendar, which I don't particularly like.... Thanks and keep up the good work! Best, Olivier.

      I came here to say the same! It was so easy to migrate from my old system but I am missing my week planner view with time blocks! Unless… would this be deviating from the vision and purpose of the app? Also echoing the praises for the great app @Hamish Johnson !

    Agree calendar view a must. I run three calendars based on specific business interests and collaring these and different views would be huge!

    I do definitely think this is a good idea. That and maybe better switching between days/weeks/etc on the main timeline view (at the top, you can click on the date and change it to another date, but there isn't an arrow to just quick click to preview/next). I did notice you can swipe to the side on mobile but this doesn't work on the web version. Totally outlandish request on this, sorta related to the monthly view. I'd like to have Bullet as my primary planner AND journal. There are a few things keeping me from that though. One thing I believe I've mentioned on another suggestion somewhere is having the option to show images that are attached on the main timeline. But it would be AMAZING to also have a monthly view showing images, like the way Diarium does (there's an image of the monthly view halfway down this page https://diariumapp.com/). That may be completely changing the direction you want the app to go though, so it won't be a deal breaker for me.

    Hamish Glad to hear this is planned. It would be nice if the grid calendar view includes an option for the user to filter what appears—for example, for me it would be most helpful to only see events and highest-priority tasks, since notes and medium/low priority tasks will clutter up the view and are best reviewed in list format.

    I agree! I based the month/year view off the original bullet journal, but I find it to not be ideal. When I build it, it will be optional.

    Tragic Anne-corinne: No, it's not completely changing direction. Journaling functions is definitely underdeveloped and I want to improve on it. I like those suggestions �

    I would also like this for the weekly view, but with a horizontal view like a Kanban board.
