Calm repeating task database

It can feel overwhelming with many repeating tasks.

My idea is to create a database where all repeating tasks are stored. Also when they are due they don’t show up automatically. Instead users could go inside this list and manually plan when to do something. So a user could add template tasks to today or this week. Or even a whole group from the database to a period.

When completed the updated status show up in the database. If the user don’t complete these tasks they don’t become overdue. They stay in the period they were added to or moved to. The user would have the ability to remove the template task from a planned state.

So instead of live repeating tasks this would work more like connected template tasks added to different periods.

The new feature in the app where repeating tasks can repeat by completion date is great. However I have found that some bugs sometimes happens when you move tasks around different periods. I don’t know if an idea like this would help with that problem.

But the main idea for this is that even if a repeating task is due it might not be the time to do it.
