Worth writing down why monthly was left out originally: a once-a-month cadence isn't really a habit. Habits work because they repeat often enough to build a rhythm, and something you do monthly is closer to a recurring task.
A recent request reframes it though. The ask was a monthly limit for something consumed unevenly across the month - the behaviour itself is sporadic, it's the budget and the tracking window that are monthly. A weekly habit doesn't model that, because the whole point is that some weeks are heavier than others and it's the month total that matters.
That's a different feature from 'a habit you perform once a month': it's a per-period allowance with a cap, measured over a month. Worth considering on its own terms alongside biweekly/monthly repeats.
