I would like it to be right obvious in the weekly or monthly view, when today's notes and tasks start.

    I could see this maybe as an option but personally I prefer to keep everything still colour-coded, even if it's in the past, especially for going back at a historical view. But this is because I use the colours to differentiate between family members, etc.
