Pause repeated tasks

I would like to be able to pause repeated tasks until a certain date. Use case: twice a week, I water the plants. However, when I'm on holidays, I don't need to water them. Additionally, if I migrate a repeated task, I need it to only be repeated after the new date. For instance, if I migrate a task that repeats daily to next week, I don't need it to be repeated until after I actually complete it.
