If I understand it correct, yes, that is much needed: Basically, I'm in the middle of something else (eg reading), come across sth to follow up later on, but may not remember the exact loc / address / title etc, so i'd like to copy the link or a screenshot and add as an item to my list of things to f/u. Rn every other app shows up on that list to plant my copied link into, except Bullet...

Mute Ashely: Ok, so would you then store these types of links into a list for organizing your bookmarks? Am I correct in guessing that it would be useful to leave the 'description' of the note clear so that you can write notes below each link? i.e. the title would be the link, maybe the image from the link would pop up, and a description below to add notes.

Now Omnivore is dead, it would be great if Bullet could fill that gap

Same with photos etc. You could share anything basically and have it share to Bullet. Similar to the way Google Keep works. Share a photo, link, note, whatever you want essentially. :)

Hamish: Yes I think we imagine it the same! First I imagined it is like in apple notes: looks like a button, short description, the domain and a small image if possible. I’m not sure how it should look to not destroy your clear design of bullet. But I think it’s really useful to have Weblinks like this. Or more reduced. I see different possibilities: A) like apple notes B) it’s just a few words in the text which is marked as a clickable link. So for example: - *birthday present idea* for Paul C) it’s a new (sub) entry type with a link Symbol D) it’s works like the tag button (+ add link) and it’s shown like a button next to the list marks and tags and so on In summery I guess there are so many deferent use cases… in the end it should fit to the clean design to not mess up the list. A http://blabla….. would be a killer. 😅

Hamish: Hi Hamish, thanks for the fast reply! Maybe my wording to describe this is not right. (: If I find a product on Amazon, a Video on YouTube or just something interesting on a design blog via safari etc. the button “share” gives me the opportunity to copy the link or (and this is what I mean) a short cut, shown as the bullet icon next to all the other apps, giving the opportunity to make a note directly in my bullet inbox.

Great - those are both heavily requested features - I've added your vote to them. https://bullet.canny.io/feedback/p/home-screen-widget https://bullet.canny.io/feedback/p/links-in-description As for the 'sharing website directly into Bullet' - can you give me an example of the type of website you would be adding here and what you use it for?

One user is interested in using a share feature to create shortcuts that let you record voice entries into bullet inbox on the fly
