Show completed tasks in week/month/year view for smaller increments

Title may be unclear. I want to be able to see all tasks completed in the past week when I look at the week view, even though many of those are scoped to "day". Also, if I finish a monthly or yearly tasks on a given day, I'd like to see that task completed in that day (and any week/month/year view including that day).
