Sub notes showing outside parent note

Feature Request
When I put a sub note in a parent note, the sub note also shows up outside the parent note, on the day's page. Is there a fix or is it meant to be that way...? Would like the option to disable that, or for it to be gone entirely.

    Hamish, thanks for responding! My trouble is that I also put the sub note into lists/tag them, so that I can go back and look at them under that list/tag ALONG WITH the date. So I need those dates. But it's a minor quibble, in the end. I should probably just find a workaround. Thanks again for all your great work. Your app has saved my sanity!

    If a sub-note is assigned a date, it will be visible on that date. This is intentional as it allows people to have sub-entries each with their own assigned date. You can remove the date from the sub-note to stop it appearing on that date.
