Have subtasks remain with the parent task when dragged to individual days

Feature Request
When you have a task scheduled for this week and the task has subtasks. And you show subtasks and quickly move a subtask to an individual day the subtask gets removed from the parent task. Only if you go inside the subtask and schedule it it will remain with the parent task. In the week, monthly and yearly view it would more quick to be able to drag the subtask to the correct day.

    The hold shift while dragging to a destination to create repeat visibility at both origin and destination doesn't seem to be working as described on my mac. Using the app downloaded from chrome

    Keep item in subtask/date when dragging

      I don't know if that's what you mean, but in the weekly view when I drag a subtask to a specific day, it becomes a task on Its own (instead of just assigning a date to it) and loses the primary task to which it was attached! very annoying

      Yes, I understand. When I originally designed the drag and drop feature, I decided that dragging should be consistent in its behaviour i.e. if you drag something from one place to another, it is always removed from the place you dragged it from. At the time, I thought that was a good choice because then there's no ambiguity about what happens. I need to look into what most people prefer before changing this, could make it default behavior or add an option
